QC Candles Co. | Brand Photography in Dallas and Nationwide

Hey ya’ll. I have to let you in on a little secret. Ok its not so much of a secret, but I need to share with you my friend. As a brand photographer in Dallas and Nationwide, I wanted to share with you my day with Joey (who’s a Phoenix local). Joey makes and sells candles in the valley. Yep, he sure does. He started his own candle company called QC Candles Co. and I am glad he did.

I went to his apartment where he has a room dedicated to making these yummy smelling candles. Here I thought this whole time they were made in the kitchen. I was fooled as I walked in the kitchen, preparing to set up and get started documenting the process. He grabbed his aluminum pitchers and walked down the hall to his second bedroom. I followed, naturally because again, I am documenting the progress and lo and behold, the entire set up was perfectly nestled here in the second bedroom.

It was amazing to watch him make these QC Candles. It took some work to get everything perfect. From melting the soy wax, to measuring just the right amount, to adding in the scents, stabilizing the wick, pouring the wax, allowing it to dry. Phew! I tell you what though, it was so worth documenting. Oh and let’s not forget about printing the labels and laying them perfectly on the jars and the packing boxes.

I enjoyed the aroma in the space. As a Brand Photographer in Dallas, it is always so much fun documenting my clients doing what they do. I love to travel from Dallas to where ever my clients are to ensure that I capture their process where they are comfortable. The passion and love they have for their product is like no other when actually watching them make magic and pulling this all together.
